ISR and Close Air Support (CAS) Training
Meta provides European-based contracted ISR, predominantly to the UK MoD, focusing on ISR and Close Air Support (CAS) training for British Army Battlegroups conducting Collective Training worldwide. Meta has been accredited by the UK MoD’s Joint Air Liaison (JALO) to provide live airborne ISR and CAS emulation worldwide since 2012 and has supported up to 6 Battlegroups per year at British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK). As part of this ongoing support, Meta emulates NATO ISR and CAS operations for UK Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) training using live airborne platforms equipped with military-spec ISR sensors, datalinks, mission systems and secure voice comms.

Training and Consulting
Concentrating on ISR sensors, data and decision makers, rather than platforms, Meta is also able to offer niche services to ISR OEMs and ISR service providers, enhancing their products and dataflows, with our cadre of highly experienced ex-military ISR Sensor Operators (SOs) providing product development and delivery support. Meta maintains ISR currency through our annual JALO accreditation for ISR and CAS, and through our ongoing provision of MQ-9A Reaper Pilots, SOs, Mission Intelligence Coordinators (MICs) and White Force specialists at XIII Sqn, RAF Waddington, where they provide training and currency to the RAF’s Reaper Force in a simulated environment.

NOR: An Advanced Simulation and Training Program
The NOR platform brings the cutting edge technology, scalability and accessibility of commercial game engines to the high-end military training and simulation market. The age of having one simulator per squadron has passed. With the NOR platform, every pilot is able to have access to their own simulator.
Meta has created the next generation simulation platform to provide an immersive environment for high fidelity simulation in all domains across across air, land, sea, and EMS. Harnessing the commercial power of gaming by using Unreal Engine, the NOR platform takes simulation to the next level. With ultimate fidelity and a focus on training effects, NOR can help customers achieve training goals far more effectively and affordably.
Simulation
Training Modules
The Air Tactics Trainer (ATT) is the first simulation module developed by Meta for NOR. The first iteration is based on the F-16 block 50; however, any modern aircraft can be simulated in the environment. Meta can flexibly integrate the NOR simulation and flight modeling with existing third-party simulators.
The Joint Terminal Attack Controller Trainer (JTACT) is a natural addition to the expanding suite of NOR training simulators. The high cost of flying modern combat aircraft has placed a premium on realistic, affordable training for JTACs and Forward Air Controllers.
